I spot first time a Robin nest on Our frontyard's tree 05/18/23. We tried to avoid but my husband did gardening ,the birds seemed to used to him.We saw the mama bird sitting in and the male just standing on the neighbor's roof.Did not see had they eggs or not ,tried to not disturb them.I was really happy and exited,waiting for the hatchlings.But now ,after a few rainy and cold ( about 50 F) days we could not see them. As the birds are not here we dared to go close and check the nest...it is empty..no shells or baby birds,we never saw on the ground neither.I am sad, do not know what happened. I heard sometimes crows and we have few cats in the subdivision and here is not allowed to put birds feeder outside.So it seems these birds abandoned the nest ,I feel sorry for them.
