On 2nd June, mid-morning temperature 80F, I inspected about 15 milkweeds, found no eggs or larvae. Half of the plants showed signs of distress with shriveled tops or complete failure (defoliated/dying), a few had signs of leaves partly eaten (milkweed report submitted). I watered some of them. 89F by mid-afternoon and no precipitation since two weeks ago on 20th May.
