I planted a milkweed 2022 but thought it had died by the end of the season because the grasshoppers and aphids attacked my young plant. I was surprised to see it actually survived and new growth appeared. It's only a couple of inches tall but hoping it will have good growth this summer. It's planted by echinacea, black-eyed Susan and a butterfly bush so hoping to really draw monarch's to the garden this summer.
