The first Monarch of the year for our yard ... which is full of several species of milkweed. She was hitting milkweed all around the yard! June is NOT when we expect Monarchs - it's late for Spring (rare anyway) and very early for their Fall return South when we get the big wave. We have seen a few Spring Monarchs this year but in the NW corner of GA. Hope she left us some eggs!
