I noticed several monarch butterflies in my garden so I started searching for eggs. Nearly every stem I checked had an egg on it. In total I collected 60 eggs. Now I am in the midst of monarch madness, keeping the cages clean and the caterpillars fed. But it's such a treat after last summer when there were no monarch sightings at all.
