landing on common milkweed with buds and blooms. Did not find any eggs. Assuming this is newly emerged butterfly. sighted at 11:30 AM sunny day, 75 F. In bloom now: common milkweed,
sedum, lupine, perennial salvia, daisy, aster, nepeta, honeysuckle, ninebark, dogwood shrub, spirea, petunias, tomato, flax, other annuals
