The Green Thumb Garden Club has been working on this 10ft x 10ft. Butterfly garden for a few years. We nick named the garden The Bayside Butterfly Buffet. We intend it to be a means to educate the public The club has been encouraging people to reduce the size of their lawns and plant native plants. There's milk weed for the monarch butterflies and research has been done to include host plants for other species. There's goldenrod and asters to help with the Fall migration.
