I refilled feeders, as the Rubies have been very thirsty. Lots of activity today. I saw as many as three at any one time. A male decided to land on a feeder that was occupied by a female. They stared at each other, drank at the same time, stared, drank, and so on. Another flew off the male. The male returned. In the meantime, others were whizzing back and forth and rearing in the Yew hedge. The evening feeding ended at 8:44 p.m.
