Observed one female Monarch butterfly basking on a Common Milkweed. She sat there for 20 minutes then went to a tropical milkweed and began nectaring. She waslater observed lying eggs. She was sharing the yard with two Gulf Frittelary butterflies, who were lying eggs on the Passion vine. The sun has finally shown itself for the last couple of days. Temps around 70 degrees. Also one Cabbage Patch was sighted.
