Monarch Adult (FIRST sighted)

Date: 06/27/2023

Number: 1

First adult Monarch seen on the wing. This is very concerning since it’s very late. Usually migrating adults lay eggs mid to late May. Loss of habitat in Mexico, pesticides, and bad weather migrating north in March May all be factors.

Husband saw first Monarch this morning also.
