Saw and video taped this from my den window and was shocked! Very violent attack of a dominant Allen's hummer against a female Anna's at the feeder. I finally ran outside and shooed him away. The female was in shock and let me pick her up off the feeder. I put her in a dark box to rest. In 15 minutes, she revived and flew away. Always new hummingbirds are aggressive, but this looked like an effort to kill. Truly shocked me!
