This just happened!!
Released 2 females (first ever) today who could flap but not glide yet alone fertile.
Half hour later I saw this female over one of my Common Milkweed patches. Very faded and looking very exhausted. She was laying eggs but not sure how many were coming out. I’m sure there are a few. Hopefully she just needs nectar and a rest.
