I must have more birds this year than last, because I'm using more nectar. I don't have loads of birds like I had 20 years ago, but am grateful for those I have.

In the morning, much to my surprise, I saw four at the same time chasing about the feeders and each other. Sometimes I wonder if they're burning off more than they're getting!

The alpha "bully" male is still here.
