THE SAME TINY RUBY RED THROATED MALE AT FEEDER #4, NEXT TO THE ONE HE'S USUALLY AT. HE PICKED THE ONE WITH THE MOST NECTAR. LOL. IT WAS 8:30 PM.
MY CHAIR OVERLOOKS THE DECK AND THE MARSH. MY WINDOW IS 8' WIDE AND 5' TALL. I'M NOT LIKELY TO MISS MUCH ACTION.
I WILL NOTE THAT THIS IS MY 4TH YEAR PUTTING OUT FEEDERS. EACH YEAR SOMEONE COMES ALONG A WEEK EARIER.
A FRIEND IN CALIFORNIA TOLD ME THAT I MOST CERTAINLY DO HAVE HUMMINGBIRDS IN NY. IT WAS A BET I WAS HAPPY TO LOSE. THE FIRST YEAR THEY CAME AUGUST AND SEPTEMBER.
I NOW PUT FEEDERS OUT IN IN APRIL.
