There are three eagles here all year round. Two smaller which are usually together. They try to avoid harassment by the red tails by flying with the black vultures. The much larger eagle flys alone and all other raptors give it plenty of room. The larger one just flew overhead just skimming my overstory hemlocks and pines. About 80ft tall. It had a snake in it's talons.
