I have a story to tell, today while working in my yard I had a female Monarch butterfly flying around all afternoon- landing on milkweeds flying around in air landing on trees. I felt so bad for her - no other Monarch’s in sight. She was lovely sitting on branches showing off her colors this tore at my heart. Finally at 7:30pm another Monarch showed up!!!! They were dancing through the air! I can’t positively identify whether it was a male or not. But I was so happy she wasn’t alone. Hopefully they took shelter and tomorrow maybe eggs 🦋
