Our friend, Paul Nielson, got this fabulous shot of our resident adult male Ruby throated hummingbird, Sparky, on his favorite perch on top of one of the cherry trees in our front yard. He "owns" the entire front yard from this vantage point. He is THE alpa male in our yard and is very dear to us. He has been with us since summer of 2021. We have 2 other resident adult Ruby males, each claiming their respective halves of the back yard.
