Adult male RTHB infrequently near feeder, still no female observed since 17th June.

Feeder consumption measured is down in the past week to 8ml per day average.

Slight break in extreme dry drought pattern, with five-eights inch of rainfall total the previous seven days.

Unusual behavior continued: Male mostly perching high, far away and out of direct sight of the feeder, such as at the very top of spruces or an antenna, his beak sometimes opening as if he is calling for mates.
