Finally! At 4:30 pm I saw a lone monarch circling my wildflower garden (with milkweed) repeatedly. It showed more interest in the neighbor's butterfly bush, where after nearly an hour I got a photo. Around 90 degrees, hazy & humid, calm to light breeze.
