We’ve had this area planted in Showy milkweed for 10+ years. Have sighted monarchs one time before about 8+ years ago and just had our fist sighting since( reported)!
Currently most blooms are spent and pods are forming on the mature plants. Some younger plants are just forming flower heads.
We have other blooming plants in the area as well including lavender, purple blazing stars, alums, crocoia as well as tomatoes, garlic, blueberries.
