The condition of milkweed plants is much improved and they're in full bloom this past week after the much needed precipitation, today is fair with good quality air fragrant with milkweed and many other wildflower blooms, lilac blooms were done about a week ago. These plants that survived the long hot and dry stretch, are noticeably shorter than typical in years with better rainfall.

Pictured is a patch of sixteen common milkweed plants. Two hundred milkweeds were counted on a one acre area wildflower field.
