An example of the common milk weed patches surrounding and within the pasture. Following a rain of 1.75 inches last night and a humid, breezy, 75 degree day, the common milk weed scent permeates the air, and you can hear the bumble bees working within several feet away.

These patches are also hosting pristine, monarch butterflies this afternoon.

Unfortunately no monarch pictures, between the breeze, erratic monarch flight patterns and a big, dog on a leash I didn’t have enough hands 🎈🐾
