We had a drought in PA, a Late Frost, and an extreme heat wave like the rest of the USA. The Monarchs usually arrive here by the first week of July, around the 4th; they are about 16 days late. Formerly they would arrive around the 3rd week of June. It gets later and later each season. I have a field of Monarda and Milkweed; In watching for Monarchs arrival I also noted that I saw ONE SINGLE Humminng Bird Moth, where normally I would have had hundred of them with the bloomoing of the Monarda (which also bloomed 2 weeks late)
