Today seems to be "Monarch Day" at the ranch! I'm finding eggs, larvae, and this adult, and 2 of my captives have eclosed. This wild female is taking a break from laying eggs to sip on nectar from A. speciosa. Sunshine, 82 F, 11:00 a.m., calm, clear sky. Monarch Way Station 9418
