I typically see Monarch butterflies in the area by the end of July. I have not seen any, zero, Monarch butterflies yet. It has been smoky from the Canadian wildfires, pesticides are used in this area, habitat loss and climate change may be the issues. I do see "yellow" swallowtails in the area and some cabbage white butterflies. I do not see many fireflies either.
