I let Milkweed grow in my gardens to attract Monarchs. There were likely prior signs that I couldn’t capture. I’ve seen mating behavior in this area of the garden in past years.

This year, the activity is earlier. I’m writing this 20 days later, and already have Monarch caterpillars getting ready to go into Chrysalis.

I’ll submit those dated yesterday (July 25), but this is 2 MONTHS earlier than past activity of the “Super Generation,” which occurred in September/October.
