I’ve been anxiously looking for the monarch’s to return to my milkweed patch. We have had a few strange cold snaps this spring and terrible air quality recently from the Canada wildfires. I was out mowing an adjacent empty lot before our 4th of July celebration when the first monarch sailed past. My shouts for joy startled my neighbors!
