Monarch Adult Sighted

Date: 07/20/2023

Number: 1

On approximately 1 week ago I spotted a Monarch flitting around the wildflowers in our lower garden.
This was the First we have seen all season.
Evidently she had laid eggs on various Milkweed and we are now seeing new cats on the plants.
I have captured 10 to protect and raise until they close but there are numerous others on leaves to keep an eye on.
Most of our milkweed has flowered and there are some already generating seed pods.
So, don't ever give up.

Note: We have had horrible weather here in Southern NH.With a Cold Spring and way too much rain. But here they are!
