With the current drought in my area, almost all of my common milkweed died back and didn’t come back this year. But with recent rains, some milkweed is returning! I found 3 small plants between my fence and window well of my house. Seeing some chew marks, I flipped over the leaves and found 3 first instar caterpillars, including this one here!
