Tall stands of approximately 40 Asclepias Syriaca are on opposite corners growing among other foliage including a hedge, rose bush, mulberry tree/bush, weeds. Most milkweed plants 3-4 feet tall. Some are approximately 6 feet tall.

Corner with approximately 10:
Plants are fresh and green, no yellow, half of them forming a flower head. One black ant observed. One 1/4 inch hole (dry)) was found.

Corner with approximately 30: these milkweeds are older and marked with dried petals or immature seed pods. Hedge was trimmed but landscaper allowed these to stand. Some stems are streaked with purple, some leaves yellowing. Leaves are darker green here and many are somewhat dry to the touch. A few are fresh.

On this corner, there are 1/4 holes or smaller hole on some leaves and no holes on others. One stem has two “flagged” leaves and leaves show substantial foraging. However, there was no frass observed and edges of holes have dried.
