Hummingbird (OTHER Observations)

Date: 07/29/2023

Still seeing an adult male rubythroat that I got a look at thru field glasses at 9 a.m. he looks like a first year male getting his full throat plumage. Males are trailing in one by one from now on. The adult male has moved on and possibly the sub adult male in last report.

Heres what I go thru with different feeder styles:

They never go to
First nature hummingbird feeder,
3 in one white flower port feeder,
Best in 1 feeder,
More birds feeder,
Window mount feeder gets tons of ants,
Took lid off glass Sphere hummingbird feeder for a hummer bird bath,
Trying ruby sipper bc it covers the bottom from high heat index.

Our returns prefer:
Large Perky pet glass feeder,
Perky pet pinch waist feeder
All aspects high view feeders,
Hand blown metal bottom with switched out to plastic red floere ports.
