As late summer approaches our hummingbirds are getting up a little later; appearing at 6:15 AM vs before 6 AM.

Due to a profusion of flowers, they’re visiting the flowers more and utilizing the feeders less.

Floral banquets: abundant areas of phlox that are blooming, also visiting butterfly bushes, salvia, petunias, Lantana, zinnias, coral bells, nasturtiums, Indian Pinks, dicentria luxuriant, liartis, native cardinal flowers.
