Monarch Adult Sighted

Date: 07/30/2023

Number: 2

Partly cloudy, breeze from the West. 10 - 11 AM. Two Monarchs were shown flying in different places in close destination to the Central Pond in Acacia reservation. There are parts of meadows with the mixture of Goldenrod and Boneset. No flowers, only green stems preparing for Blossom in one-two weeks. These patches of Boneset will attract Monarchs before Monarchs departure to the South on the end of August and during September. These two Monarchs which I saw to-day did not show any interest in nectarine. They were only flying around.
