Still hearing loud morning tweets behind me out on patio early morning time. When I came back from native plant place finding 'Amigo' salvias to pot. I saw that darm cat on driveway again. Male rubythroat flew out up overhead. Hummer stays over on driveway side high up in Stone pine tree. Tries to nectar where Bishops cap, Hamelias, white honeysuckle vine are in flower beds and kitchens feeder is located.
Spreading coffee grains under all high up hung hummingbird feeders now to help discourage feral cat. My sons black lab chased him out yesterday from under car. Very nervy feral cat. A lot of our regular chicadees, Wrens, Cardinals etc, not coming to feeders bc of it in back area also.
