We counted approximately 40 milkweed in our garden. This is far from the first sighting, we started observing it in our garden area 3 years ago with either three or four plants which have now grown to 40 in approximately 35 square feet.

We also live in Iowa and so there is much more but this is in our somewhat cultivated garden/patio area.
