First monarchs seen in our yard (we have lots of milkweed). One was feeding on verbena, the other was laying eggs on common milkweed. I checked later in the day and saw a few eggs on some of the leaves; I checked periodically over the next couple days, but on day 3 the eggs were gone (and no larvae seen). No monarchs or eggs since then.
