A friend watched a monarch laying eggs on her milkweed (in Yarmouthport, MA) on 7/23 (and brought the leaves over for me to raise in my outdoor enclosures). Two of those eggs hatched today or yesterday (just saw the teeny cats today). The other eggs just kind of disappeared.
