Still not a single a Monarch adult, larva or egg this year. There are several fields full of common milkweed in my area that I've been checking almost daily (despite the ticks and the risk of Lyme disease), but so far there hasn't been a single sign of them. However, we've been having an extremely wet summer including quite a few strong thunderstorms, and temps have been cooler than normal. Maybe these factors are keeping them away? I sincerely hope that they will still make it up here this summer, as long as it's safe for them to do so.
