About 30 Asc. Perennis alive under live oak in back yard. All but six are naked stalks no more than 10 inches high. Of these six with several pairs of leaf foliage each, one is flowering. Among erect dayflowers, violets, button bush and shade goldenrod. Weather is 95drgrees daily high, rain about an hour a week. No monarch activity visible.
