Black swallowtail butterfly on a native Rose Mallow leaf 🎈💕

The warmer late summer temperatures have been conducive to the appearances of butterflies: monarchs, black swallowtails and yellow swallowtails.

This week, we’re seeing butterflies amongst the phlox common milkweed, swamp milkweed, lantanas, salvias, and zinnias, butterfly weed, butterfly bushes and liatris.
