Monarch Waystation #271 reports sighting a hummingbird with large white tail spots traveling through the front garden nectaring about 6:35 pm. It did a "circuit" flight from left to right [as viewed out the window] nectaring [in the following order] on orange Tithonia, rose-purple Ironweed, Lady-in-Red Salvia, yellow Black-eyed Susans [R. hirta], and a yellow Coreopsis bloom before flying off out of sight eastward.
