Monarch Waystation #271 reports a hummingbird with large white tail spots nectaring on red+yellow tropical milkweed flowers growing in a pot on the front patio outside the kitchen window [facing north]. I was inside, and as I moved nearer the window to get a better look it saw me and zipped away in a blur. This was about 8:35 am.
