I have several milkweed plants in our front yard this year. They are about 5’ tall and are starting to go to seed. We have left them alone in hopes of attracting Monarchs, but are wondering if we need to leave the seed pods? We think our next door neighbor may not like the seeds in her yard next year when she has a whole field of milkweed plants growing. Will the butterflies come to the plants without the seed pods?
