Monarch Larva Sighted
Sightings report image

Date: 08/01/2023

Number: 1

First egg siting was 06/20/2023. I have 1/8 acre of native plants, with 8 differnt milkweeds. I collect Monarch eggs, from the surrounding fields, and raise and release them. We have A LOT OF BIG AG SURROUNDING US and these eggs are vunerable to poisons. The Monarchs in my gardens are not raised and sometimes get caught in a crop dusting overspray😡 To date I have released 3 males and 8 females that were OE free, I collect their scales and check them under a microscope. There are usually 2-3 Monarch adults daily flittering around
