Five adult monarch butterflies counted nectaring on liatris (blazing star) during fifteen minute period from 12:35 to 12:50, plus three monarchs flying over field 10:30 to 17:00 casually observing during the course of my normal daily activities.

(This is on the low side compared to other days this past week counting from 11 to 31 adults, and much increased compared to last season.)
