Today: intermittent sunshine, rain showers and winds of approx 9 mph.

If you’re a butterfly, a 9 mph wind impacts your activities and travel.

This monarch looks older and weary. Nonetheless it was flying, and playing with the others in the hay field amongst the common milk weed.

Due to the wind, their activities were located on the southeast side of the field, where it has more shelter from the wind via tall trees on the perimeter. 🎈
