Cacapon Resort State Park
Nature Center monarch way station we observed one female monarch laying eggs on milkweed for several hours and nectaring and resting in between. She appeared to be very tired and resting a lot.

This was truly amazing watching her lay eggs. I have many photos and videos of this. What a day!
