I cut this frame from a little video I took with my phone. This butterfly did not look big enough to be super-generation, so probably parent generation of super-generation.
It was a alone in North Branch Park near the Thames River. The park really could use some swamp milkweed. There was some common milkweed with tough leaves and already getting pods. Lots of vetch in this park in London, Ontario. There are lots of parks in this city. More Monarch-friendly plants would be a big help.
