An egg deposited on top side of the leaf. Knowing rain was coming, I brought it inside and placed in a smaller cage with the milkweed. The teeny, tiny baby is now happily eating- hard for me to see, but granddaughter confirmed its birth! I’ll bring in plenty of clean, fresh milkweed and transfer to a larger Monarch cage so we can watch it safely transform. Fingers crossed. Our 5th year of raising. and releasing our loves!
