Milkweed Sighted
Sightings report image

Date: 06/18/2023

I just wanted to show you this try-leaf that is on two of 200 common milkweed . The plants are 20' apart from one another. Each of the milkweed plants have two sets, of the xtra single leaf . Have you ever seen this before ? I was thinking that , "hey more leaf to eat for our monarch caterpillars " :) This year the hight's have reached 7' . I believe this is due to all the rain we have had here in Strafford County , NH . I do have more photos with different angles on the , "uncommon " common milkweed plant if you are interested .
